Elegant Oklahoma Western-Style Engagement Photos Session
A cowboy hat, denim, and boots have never looked better!
I met with Jill and Craig through a mutual friend who casually mentioned that they were looking for a wedding photographer in Oklahoma to capture their engagement photos. After some phone calls and speaking about their wedding ideas and engagement photos, we finally set a date for the session.
Engagement Photos Session at Chapel Acres
We agreed to meet at their home in Chapel Acres, located in the beautiful countryside of Goldsby, Oklahoma, right next to the beautiful Southwind Hills Wedding Venue.
The evening was cool, with the perfect amount of clouds and a light breeze for us to take a walk with their pup, Buzzy, and take some photos while they enjoyed each other’s company. I wanted to make their photos look as natural as possible, so I instructed them to be themselves and enjoy the beautiful evening, and they did just that, perfectly!
Oklahoma Eastern Red Buds as an Engagement Photo Session Natural Backdrop
We ventured into the woods behind their home, and while capturing candid smiles, hugs, and kisses, we noticed the Oklahoma Eastern Red Buds were starting to bloom! These beautiful trees also happen to be the Official Oklahoma State Tree.
Although called “Red” Buds, they are a very bright shade of pink and serve as a beautiful background to their classy western style.
Love and affection aligned with the beautiful scenery
This beautiful scenery was made even more beautiful with their gestures of love and affection towards each other. The way Craig looked at Jill is as if he knew he had the best treasure in the world, and he’s the type of guy that will hold his lady’s hand and open the door for her because it’s the little details that matter.
Thank you for trusting me with your engagement session, your wedding is going to be a blast!
Warmly,
Duane
